So, I'm going to keep trying, devices:

    1. OPPO RENO 7 5G phone - MT6877V/ZA platform - Android 13 - the .apk from sweat #28 was created on this device

    2. N-ONE Npad Ultra tablet - Snapdragon 685 platform - Android 14

    3. Xiaomi MI A2 Lite - Snapdragon 625 platform - Android 10

What happened: the .apk from device 1 installed on device 2 works fine, but on device 3 it has a bootloop. When it starts, the GPS freezes. Clearing the cache sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't.

The .apk generated on device 2 installed on device 3 works fine so far - a temporary test - I went outside and restarted and closed the TomTom several times, no problems.

It's impossible to create an .apk on device 3. Google.play downloads .apk version 3.6.322, which is not supported by the "doctor" in the NAFANE manual.

I think it's best to create a dedicated .apk for your device, as there may be differences between the MTK and Qualcom platforms.

For the lazy, here's an .apk created for the Snapdragon 685, which still works on the Snapdragon 625.

The same may be true for Samsung and Huawei platforms, ready-made .apk files may not work.

I tested all three apps on Huawei, Android 10, Kirin, without downloading the app from GP. No problems. tested on Sony, Android 10, SD845 - no problems
My friends, on Samsung S25, A54, A15&16 , no problems

It's a problem with the device software and user ignorance, not with the app itself
Disable Play protect, allow installation from unknown sources (google how to and how to allow developer options), use a better file manager (no factory ones) like TotallCommander or X-Plorer
and besides, you should "tell" Samsung's security and antivirus software that the app is safe to use

Like Boki points out how to install on a Samsung phone is correct.

Users need to spend more time understanding how their phone work, and how to get around restrictions that Android 16 and Samsung has put in place.
A lie goes around the internet before anyone ever fact checks it if it is true or not. In most cases no one ever checks anything they just accept it as fact.....

Has anybody been able to install and patch the latest version 3.6.322? Is there any other URV Bundle patch, apart from the Rushiranpise Bundle Patch, that can be used to patch TomTom Go apks?

I think the only new thing about version ...322 is that this APK is harder to modify.

Found this on the changelog for the brand new version of the app (3.6.322)

Fixed an issue where the app could get stuck on the launch screen.
Exactly what i was having... so i guess the trouble was in the app itself all along and not really in the patching process...
