Some writers should realize that TT is not an iGo where they could "tune" the application to their liking. I have been using TT NDS since its inception and I have no reservations. It can even search for house numbers even in small villages (but it is necessary to have "online search" turned off). The only thing I can say about the latest functions is that once after entering the route and starting the ride, the "Maps have been updated" window popped up on me, so it is obvious that IQ maps work.
Otherwise, I agree that knowing the number of satellites, where and how ....... it's a complete nonsense, because I can not affect it in any way - either there is sufficient reception and navigation works or I'm holt out of range. But there's nothing I can do about it
Sorry for the English (google translator)

After driving with the new TT NDS MOD for a while, I thought that the calculation of the given road, sometimes gets me out on a small detour. So hope that the "engine" gets better with time. Also has a number of errors on the partial map, at intersections TT NDS MOD shows more options than there are at the given location. If I drive with TT GO there are no problems.
Then it is good that you yourself know, the way to your destination place.
The new option IQ maps, runs perfectly it has updated my maps many times during my run lately, nice to see that it also works in the background.
As I have written before, I miss the "" Caravan "" option under My Vehicle.
Thanks to "saomaohao" for this TT NDS MOD, it is the future of Navigation, and after my option the new TT NDS MOD is many lengths ahead of other Navi Software.
But otherwise there are no major critical errors.

And again thanks to > saomaohao

I read on TomTom forum also that NDS only works on smartphones, I just installed it on a ACER 7 inch tablet running Android 6 .
Installation goes without problems and it's running fine so..the problem must be Intel based devices I suppose.

Sorry, changing smallest width in developer options did not do the trick. Everything on the screen becomes a bit smaller but the big blue screen stays almost the same size.

There is very little about TomTom NDS on the TomTom Forum.
Maybe if you use VPN and tell it you are in Brazil it would be in Portugees language you might find info regarding it.

You should be lucky to see a post of a user asking about TomTom NDS app....in the Android forum for TomTom GO

Almost everything on the TomTom Android forum section is about the new version of TomTom Go that replaced the old TomTom Go v1.18.1

What TomTom is saying it was made for a Smartphone it will work on a lot of tablets not all but most of them having the correct Android system.

They have always said in the forum that they have not tested it on any Head Units and do not support it.....

The new TomTom Go uses a Map setup the same as the TomTom NDS app.
But there are still lots of problems with it running smoothly in a lot of cases.

So lets not get the 2 GPS app mixed up with one another.......

This area is about the TomTom NDS MOD nothing else......

Yes, I mean NDS and the latest Go versions cannot install on Intel., the Acer tablet is not.
I think if you install it on a head unit not based on Intel it will work. Cannot test it because both HU have Intel Sofia.
There are a lot of complaints from payed customers on the internet that TT Go does not work anymore after the update
I asked TomTom about this, the only thing they say, uninstall, clear cache , delete everyting from TomTom and install again.
Of course I knew that already and it does not help.

    You have a better device
Higher quality screen with more supported resolutions.

Changing the parameters does not have much effect on low-resolution devices (in-dash car units)
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

I think users are spending to much time looking at the screen. When I am driving I only (sometimes) look at the screen when it tells me in 400 meters turn left or right. The same with driving on the highway. It tells you to take the 15 you take it. Again why do I need to look at the screen when you see exit 15 in front of you....? Then it tells you at the end of the exit turn left on to XYZ.
The arrow show where you are at all times in your drive it is not covered over by the blue info screen that sits on the top of the phone screen. At no time does it mask where you are at any one time. Is it that important to see the whole map when driving? The most important thing is just get me from point A to point B. You get speed cam warnings and info in the side panel if you need to look at it. In most cases users know where they are driving to even if it is the first time going to some place you listen to the instructions on how to get there.
Keeping you eyes on the road is the most important thing you can do. Try telling the officer that you were looking to long on the screen and did not see the car in front of you when you hit it.

The GPS TomTom Mod does a very good job of telling to how to get someplace with all the voice info you need. If it tells you something that is not correct you use your common sense not to do that even if the voice instructions are tell you to do that. Looking on the map will not help you when it comes to a mistake in the voice instructions.

Well, i disagree, i can give you some examples when the voice tell me to make the first exit in next roundabout but the route show me actually the second one and if the next maneuver is covered by that extra big blue or green square, the voice instruction is not useless but actually is wrong, you can just as well turn off the device, forget about it and look for the signs like in old times. I think a gps software is not meant to just for voice directions, it is also intended for visual directions. But, is it just me, who want, can use the gps software in the background, listening for voice instructions with closed screen...

That is exactly the way I use TomTom navigation and , till now, it brings me quick and safe to my destination.
