Where exactly is the downloaded map located? I can't find...
As we have very little info on this new app it is had to say when they release updates.
From what I see it is about 10 MB more data that users get for each map they reinstall.
The only way to see when a real update it shown when you start TomTom is to wait and see.
Seeing that the last was in March.
When user's delete what they have and reinstall new you get the latest but it could be much more than 10 MB if you wait.
I know from the past it you had a stand alone unit and you used the PC updater there was always updates that user's add.
You could use them but for the official you needed to wait to get the updates.
I bet if you did this 30 days from now and deleted the maps and reinstall them they would be bigger again by another 10MB.
I just turned on my wife's phone and started TomTom.
She gets a notice of new map updates for Belgium map.
Spoiler: Map update
It goes from 225MB to 300MB
Now Smeus did a manual delete and update for Belgium map and went from 220MB to 244MB
So waiting does work with update notices........
And the maps are bigger also........

@sznurek,
You will not find them if you have Android 7,8,or 9
You would have to be rooted because it sits in a hidden folder
If it is android v6 all is in the folder \Andriod|data\com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds\files\NdsMaps\World\

@asprin624
I installed Belgium for the first time and the map is 244 mb. And your 300 mb ????
So far, the updates were only 10 to 15 mb per month.
Are you kidding us ?
@Golom,
Did you not look at the screen shot??
I do not make anything up not do I kid anyone.
This is an official update as shown on the screen shot..
I do not think deleting maps to get updates is the correct way to go.
User's are always in a rush to get the latest maps.
What all of you received was a small update not the official update.
Just wait till it gives you an official notice.....
@asprin624
You are right - version itself won't change - remains 15464.
But on the other hand - I had 3 maps:
Bulgaria - 107mb
Greece - 181mb
Lithuania - 57mb.
Deleted them, and downloaded again:
Bulgaria - 117mb (as proposed)
Greece - 192mb (proposed 193)
Lithuania - 63mb (proposed 64).
Nothing to comment, but:
As I remember, in earlier versions of this app I saw:
- when going to "Downloaded maps" - app checked up maps downloaded, and after short time reported:
"update available", or "up to date" - for all maps on device. Now I didn't see proposal "update available", but after re-downloading maps - now I see "up to date" near every map...
As far I can see with my NDS, they work as "Mapshare"
Download some updates to the maps every time I run TomTom_NDS.
Has anyone got the MyDrive sync to work with the NDS version? I have now both the "regular" and NDS version installed on my phone, using it with UK maps but my places aren't synced in the NDS one despite logging in...
