Now as to where the maps are:
On my SD Card:
Android\data\com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds\files\NdsMaps\World\Data\00000028\<-------all the different maps you downloaded
Now I have it installed on Android v6
It could be different for 7,8, or 9
Maybe some one with these versions of Android can check and post their info too.

In Oreo, another folder is created with the same name as the TT Go¡¡¡
In my case the route is: Memory card / Android / data / com.tomtom.gplay.nav / files / NdsMaps / WORLD / DATA / 00000028 / Maps downloaded.
Device: Xiaomi Red Mi Note 5
Name of memory card: 3266-6130

I said stop the app and restart it a couple of times.

You did not read Post 6.......
My post was for Android 6
It is different for Android 8
And it might be for Android 9 or 7 the same.
This has nothing to do with restarting your phone or the app.
That info was for users how could not get the app to start of freeze.
