Actually, the strange thing is that Samsung allows access to system folders.
@nens
Could you please add uin the first post the installation notes for
how to install the patched app
how and where (annd when/why) copy obb file
We could install directly the patched app (and copy obb file only if the app didn't start) or like for TomTom Go we should
- Install original app download by Play Store
- Start the app
- Close the app
- terminate the app
- Install patched app.
- Don't run it.
- Switch off the Android device
- Switch off the Android device
- Run the app
The bottom line here is:
Does it work?
Nothing else matters even if you can not see where the maps are stored.
It is free for now and enjoy it.
@bovirus,
Go back and read posts from version 1.0.2
Post 15, 19, 24
Then take a look at Post 7 from version 1.0.5

Do i always need the second file if i only update the apk?
@cyclon,
Just go back and read all the posts from version 1.0.2 and 1.0.5 for you answers.
That goes for all user's with questions about the app.
I have this installed on my Android head unit. Everytime I click the little circular location button to zoom in on my current location, it zooms in so far and then crashes/closes the app. It does this when it trys to start navigating too. No use to me currently. Any suggestions? Using 1.0.5
@ GoofIsbest
Did you try to use older 1.0.2 version?
