Installed it over v1.0, deleted all.obb files, copied the new one in the obb folder, and it works. Without dl maps again.

It seems quicker in finding adres. I installed NL Belgium and west Germany. It seems when i dl a region or country, it generates a seamless maps.

That's a welcome feature, don't have dl a 5gb map, can do it in parts.

    Thx for your upload !

    Thank You!

I just installed the new apk and it's working!

The only problem I face is, that contact addresses seem to require a different format compared to TT 1.17.1 ('address not found')

BTW, in which folder are the maps stored? I would like to add some custom POIs

Great app! Thanks for the post.
Just 1 question: Everytime I start a music player on my phone (Spotify, PowerAmp etc), TomTom goes silent. I have to restart the app to get voice command again. Are you experiencing the same? Is there a workaround?

P.S: version 1.0 doesn't have this issue, so for now I'll install that one on my device.

    @MicTieMix,

This is what works for me on Both TomTom apps and Sygic and Sygic INCAR

    Example:
    Hotel Berdorfer Eck

    67/68 Rue d'Echternach, 6550,LUX

    Hotel Bosch & Zee

    8 Nehalenniaweg,4357,NLD

    1.Number of the Street address
    2.Street name
    3.Zip Code
    4.Country in this format

I have found that there was no need to put the city at all or spell out the country name.
Make sure you put a comma after each part of the info

Now You might have the addresses in 2 places:
Your Email addresses and on the phone itself.

So when you make the changes on the email addresses it does not effect the ones on the phone.

So what I did was to remove my account from the phone and tablet.
Then deleted the phone addresses because there are still there.
Now turn off the phone and tablet.

Then on my laptop I went to the contacts and fixed all the address to the format shown above.

Then turned on both my tablet and phone and added my email account back it.
It takes a minute or o so all the contacts to show up again.

Now after I have all my contacts back I would pick on of them from the address book and tapped on the address.
You then can pick the GPS app you want to test the address with.

I have tested this on about 15 different contacts and they all work with the GPS apps I listed above.

Then you can add the contacts to your phone contacts so Bluetooth will work with you hands free car radio.

Then you will have both email contacts working and be able to have your hands free contacts working.

Please note that this works for about 85% of the addresses.

Of the ones that do not work with TomTom they work with Sygic.
The same for what does not work with Sygic works for TomTom

    Thank you @aspirin624!
I will try your approach within the next few days.
Until now I was using the same addesses for Sygic, TomTom Go 1.6 and 1.7* and it was working.
This new TomTom app does no accept these addresses. I also realized that the postage-code database for my country (Singapore, where every building has a unique postage code) is wrong.

Thanks, work well like TT GO on my Tab A Nougat and S7 edge Oreo both no root. In Tab A with ext sdcard I can see all relative directory structure then I can insert old POIs with icons to them. On S7 edge I have no ext sdcard only internal, I can see only one Files directory try to insert personal POIs but didn't work strange! Both can search POIs online in Thai too which can't do this on TT GO.

Same ! On my Android 8 head unit, whenever Spotify and TomTom 1.02 are open together, TomTom goes silent.

Did you have to redownload all the maps or is there a way to avoid that?

Is there a way to transfer the maps from one device to another (from my phone to my head unit for example)?
