This is "nens" post and should remain that.

It is not made for Head Units but everyone tries and runs into one problem after another.

Yes! "Nens" ( thank him for the good things ) method for smartphones works without problems, but only on them. If you think that the method that I found to install on android car multimedia is not about this topic, and it's not the same application,and it is not helpfull to others you can always ask admin to delete that post.
I dont have problem with thath.

This app was made for the South American market with Toyota.
It is not for the European or Asia or North American markets.

I have pointed this out a couple of times.

The fact that you can get it to work but have problems with MyDrive does not surprise anyone.

Just like trying to use it on a head unit has problems.

It is hard to say if this app will come to the rest of the world via Toyota and SmartDeviceLink

So be satisfied that for now the app is free and that it can be used as a stand alone app on your smartphone.

And users who have a Toyota vehicles with in-dash screens using SmartDeviceLink can show it on their radio screen.

Other than that be satisfied you can get it to work.
