That's another problem, it works differently.

Use a stand-alone application that will filter all internet traffic, for example, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Or browser only: Adblock Browser, AdGuard browser, etc ...

Can not get past "Continue with Recommended Cookies" using the Latest FireFox browser on my laptop.
Even turned on and off my VPN.
Used Different locations on my VPN no luck getting past "Continue with Recommended Cookies".

Been using FireFox for years and never had this problem.
Even tried different Ad Blockers none work on or off.

I am now on WaterFox to access this site.
No other websites have this problem with FireFox.

PS:

This only started yesterday 28th. June 2023 not getting past "Continue with Recommended Cookies".

I can click and click on it and nothing happens.

Plus I clear all cache each time I shut FirFox off and before I shut down my Laptop all is cleared out too.

There is intrusive crud here that seems to be only on this site, that causes issues and blocks from viewing things in some spoilers.
For example, the last 2 threads I started about recording tracks with Primo, the images I put behind spoilers in both threads only one is visible with Ublock Origin working, the other the button is clickable and changes from show to hide but nothing appears when clicked.
If I disable UBO and click again a damn ad appears where the image should be.
That rot needs to be stopped.

What I see, top image is with UBO on, the top spoiler button does not work except from changing the text from "show" to "hide".

Bottom image with with UBO off, crud ad appearing instead of image.

I seem not to have any issues so far but then I do more Spybot Search and Destroy since RARBG officially closed down and now use some sites I don't trust.
But honestly I think you have picked up a 3rd party Malware going around, and this site can't be any cleaner in my pay group. We are running now with 450,000 + less members and I have been working on since the Spam Attack and has taken Many hours per day to do all this, and anything to do with Sysop is out of my control.

Hey Mags,

I use only Linux systems, and the issue only happens on this site, first with the whateveritwas that prevented people from viewing threads by not allowing the scrolling down, and now with advertising shown behind spoilers instead of images.
Nowhere else on the web have I seen this happen, only here.

My daily system (MX-Linux 21.3) I normally visit the site with is clean, I am 100% sure of that.

But just to be even surer, if that's possible, as a completely unbiased and independent test, I'm currently viewing and posting this from the latest release Debian 12 Bookworm operating system, running from the live USB.
The SHA256 on the live USB's ISO download matched so it's guaranteed to be clean from malware, viruses or any other form of scumware.

When I go into my profile and click "Find Latest Started Threads" I get an ad from JustAnswer (originates from google) pops up and takes focus not allowing me to click anything else until I click Cancel on it, then it shows my latest started posts.

And when I view my UX request thread, I see this:

The same intrusive advertising garbage instead of the image that should be displayed.
And the fact that I'm running from a live operating system guaranteed free of scumware seems to indicate that this intrusive garbage is coming via this site.

I understand this, and believe it's how these advertising grubs get away with pushing this unsolicited crud on people.
If you guys had control over this I have no doubts you'd put a stop to the intrusiveness of it.
I'm not against advertising, I understand it's required in a lot of instances to keep a site running etc., but when it's at the stage where it's getting injected into threads behind spoilers preventing even the original poster from viewing images they posted in their own threads (which is what it does, I cannot view that image no matter what I try) then it's time whoever does have Sysop powers ensures the advertisers are pulled into line to prevent this intrusive behaviour.
