If you can add a feature showing who is presently viewing the thread when going to that particular thread rather than going to a person's profile, I think that it would be a good thing. This way you can see if a member is viewing your answer.![]()

That is why I place "LIKE this post" on my answer replied.
Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.
I understand. But that is kinda like after the fact if you know what I mean.
No I do not, how can you find that someone is viewing something BEFORE they actually viewed it? When admins such as Catymag and Neil were around, I asked this a while back. The only solution that works is what I said.

I hear you. I'm just saying that it would be a good thing to see who is reading the thread when you go to the thread. I know it can be done [probably a plugin] because I see it elsewhere.
I know it's possible, but unlikely to happen. Who knows, lets wait to see if any admin will respond. If not, like I said, my solution will works perfectly.

I have seen that feature on other forums I am on and it is good to see whom is also looking at that thread, on saying that I don't think it is a feature for this Forums Software.
Invisionboard runs that feature but has no Shoutbox.
Simple Machines doesn't but has Shoutbox.
vBulletin "this Forum" doesn't have that feature and has no Shoutbox.
So who knows what feature there are. Your forum Software cost pend on the features you pay for.

Well, according to the title and comments, it seem that you want to show (in realtime) who is currently "in" a thread. Not necessary "reading" a post in it. My comment was more specific to know who has already read a "post." That is more of a "spy" function than anything.

Yes, you are correct.
Not really it also lets you know who's online and have chatted to the members Via that post link "without reading who's online first" You lot go to far into what you see, particularly you osris4isis, you criticize members comments to much.
