I could really do with this on my satio, But it seems nokia have put in a phone model check init, damn them, I have now got to wait for a ******* version to appear....

I tried this out today, Indian maps were only 29MB, but after that I had to download the English voice files.

Even after installing the voice doesnt work.

I would not be sure you have the latest maps ?? The map loader shows only Asia at 1GB .
Possible you have not got the latest maps for voice guidance .
I updated as follows delete Cities folder from memory card ( make a backup copy first if you want ) .Uninstall current maps sis .
Download from Nokia latest map software via PC Suite .
Download Asia map from maps loader also required voice .
See how you go with that method .

I was very happy with this BUT i dont know why in the search engine in OVI MAP not smart enough or there is some thing missing i dont know, when you search about any place (restaurant,..) it gives you the places around your point in 1 or 1.5 KM farway but i need it to give me far than this i nedd it to give all the matched point on all the city what can i do any one faced this problem???

For Nokia E71 now availlalabe map installer in

Select your device first before download "nokia_maps_3.03_10wk11_b04_s60_3.1_rom.Nocs"( 5,232 kb)
Than by Novi suite download map/maps and voice/language or just copy/ paste "cities" file from any NOKIA mobile that already installed and already have downloaded maps and voice
It's works on my Nokia N71 (copied "cities" file from Nokia 5800) !

E72 and N96 both have the same Symbian S60V3 Fp2, Isn't it?.

Then, I want to try dowload E72's SIS file and try on N96?
