no problem if you have all time only "US + Canada_safetycam.gpi" lol for my case , and i am sure that "US + Canada_safetycam.gpi" as changed since 03 april 2017

Except that I am sure there is a direct link, on the official website, from where one can get these gpi locked

If you purchased it, you will have link to download it. And I seriously doubt North America releases changed very much. I asked again, why do you need it locked?

I think because it is original file! A many of us has own scripts or sequence of actions simply. Why waste time to digging in someone else's dirty laundry?!
Sorry but it is the greatest feature of this forum! There were a many clever people with theirs very interesting tools. I HOPE to their comeback after latest events. It is hard understand what forum was platform for research and not only scrapyard for files. I am from Russia and I have the notion what is society without intelligent people and inquiring minds. "Original" served no purposed if you can't make use of it*. I don't considered posting unlocked version "dirty laundry" especially when people can't even follow a freaking simple direction to unlocked it. The greatest feature of the forum is people helping other people, not just demanding things. I don't think the Garmin forum will be the same without the old ones (Caty, Neil, and others hackers that gone underground now) If you think posting unlocking versions contributed to "scrapyard for files." think of all the people asking/posting questions about not able to unlocked/used it. The ONLY reason why anyone would want "original" unlocked version is for "researching" but then you can use ANY versions instead of needing for every releases.

P.S. I want Putin as much as I want Chump (I mean Trump)

* Actually it served the person who bought it because only that person could use it unmodded.

You are wrong! If I have a original file I ONLY copy it to device. For any other variant I must to check if it work really. I only ask to do not spend my time...
