    Exact. Since January 3, 2012 , the products or devices that warn or inform of the location of radars are prohibited by law. But GPS devices are still authorised to indicate the location of the dangerous zones ...

    Are GPS allow to indicate the type of alerts (mobile, fixed, redlight, sectional, etc...) or just a single "dangerous zones" for all alerts?
    Cyclop alerts for France has changed to use different types from others countries.

    No, GPS are not allowed to indicate any radar..
    GPS are only allowed to indicate "danger zones" and "speed limits".
    Danger zones are announced according to the type of the road: 4 km on highways, 2 km out of town and 300 meters in urban areas. Danger zones can be: Fixed radars, mobile radars areas, crossings, the road narrowed, bridges and tunnels, steep slopes, cornering reported dangerous, schools and summer camps, hospitals ...

    Thanks for the info, Cyclops for France only have two types: 13 and 14 (unlike other countries which do not use 13 and 14, but have many other types) Could 13 and 14 correspond to "danger zones" and "speed limits?" Is it possible to get coords of a "danger zones" and a "speed limits" so I can extract similar alert from Cyclop and check it's alert type?
