Thread: Free Bundles Dashboards for Nuvi 2xx5/34xx and about Dashboards modding

The first, do you see modified text for speed in default or addition dashboards? If not I will tear my hair It is always work!!! If there is positive effect then your alternate dashboard have a flaw!

Wait! I think the reason is simple! Your device use default text - American English. The problem that text resource for American English is hard-coded in the software. It is normal because you had deleted all text files there was possibility use default language in any case.
You can try to change as above mentioned en_GB.glx and then choose British English in setting menu of device. Check it! It must work!!!
By the way the problem with extracting of en_US.glx for editing or duplication with other name is not simple in comparison with many other devices! In new software (2xxx including) there are not allotted separate block a text descriptors and values. Plus pronunciation data for TTS and voice recognition is present in text file.

My suggestion for glx is obvious for my:
The first, dashboard is not multilingual file but text in dashboard appearance on all language even for made by users!
The second, no language record in source of dashboard was found for now.
