    Do you have SD card in nuvi when you try run language guide from internal memory?If you have then eject sd card.

    You can also try with : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    - The LEX_PKG folder in the sd: /garmin folder.
    - An unl file in the sd: /garmin folder named "D046800.unl", created with jetmouse choosing garmin language
    - An unl file in the sd: /garmin folder named "gmapsupp.unl", same code as before.

    @lolypop000
    Problem finally solved. Apparently, the language guide files got corrupted when I unrar'd and copied them to the nuvi with my Mac. I did exactly the same steps with my wife's PC (even with the same unlock code) and now everything works. The presence of an SD card did not affect the results anymore.
    Thanks very much for your help, lolypop000!

    Had the same problem here. Re-downloading the .rar fixed it all.
    Maybe we both just had the wrong .rar originally or something.

    Whatever, works now in 3790.

    I purchased a nuvi 1300 GPS, with “travel language guide” software installed already.

    How can I find out, what version of Oxford software is installed in this GPS?

    Tested on Nuvi 1200 following your instructions: perfect.
    Now I can delete the old language guide from the sd :-)

    Thanks Bushwalker8!

    worked exactly like this on my nuvi 2460 LMT, no SD-Card needed! I put folder LEX_PKG and D046800.unl in folder Garmin directly on my device.
