Create SpongeBob.unl, SpongeBobBoat.unl & SpongeBobWalking.unl. Not sure if SRF-files are locked but it cames with SpongeBobBoat.unl and SpongeBobWalking.unl when downloading the bundle from Garmin.

Place "SpongeBob.vpm" & "SpongeBob.unl" in the "Voice" directory of your Garmin unit.
Place "SpongeBobBoat.srf" and "SpongeBobWalking.srf" (& if needed "SpongeBobBoat.unl" and "SpongeBobWalking.unl") in the "Vehicle" directory of your Garmin unit.

first you need to generate the unlock code using the Jetmouse program.

then copy and paste the generated code inside the .unl file

which voice do you want to use?

located the unit id of your garmin in your gps unit. then use that to generate the code

I read it loud and clear. And I hate myself to post this. Still I need some advice:

Anybody use mobile phone, such as windows mobile v6.5 + etc, and get the sound to work? I have Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.30wp specific. I got the code in unl, and renamed files to English_American_.vpm + unl in "Voice" folder. Been looking for info and tried all combinations. The sound doesn't work at all.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Had the same problem. Copy paste the generated unlock code into a blank notepad document. You need to save the unlock file as SpongeBob.unl NOT SpongeBob.unl.txt. When you save the file change the dropdown to file type "All Files" and not ".txt".

You can check the file by right clicking and selecting properties. It should show as SpongeBob.unl and NOT SpongeBob.unl.txt.

VPM works fine on my Nuvi 255!

Create "SpongeBob.unl" and put the generated unlock code in that file (25 characters = 25 bytes).

Place "SpongeBob.vpm" & "SpongeBob.unl" in the "Voice" directory of your Garmin unit.
