Are you sure? It is assumed that 5th byte (at address 0x04) shows an offset into any GPI files that are locked by means of GPI Creator.
Next, we use this offset +9 bytes to find the start of MapId (2 bytes swapped), PID (1 byte), RgnID (1 byte) & VenID (1 byte).

Can you give an example which is not subject to this rule?

Talking CyclopsSafetyCamera Tools v1.0.0.1 updated + x64 version

Here is an updated version (1.0.0.1) of CyclopSafetyCamera :

x86 version (C# + .net 4.x) : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
x64 version (C# + .net 4.x) : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

x86 version (C# + .net 3.5) : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    x64 version (C# + .net 3.5) : coming soon ...

    Corrected :

    - multiple save make the file bigger and bigger rather than just overwrite it. (thx too fringe, who found the bug)

Note : by clicking on "Change Id's" you can put whatever you want for all 4 fields (FID, PID, RgnID and VenID) ; was the case for the 1.0.0.0 version too.

As i haven't the right to post links or images, if a moderator can change the three links... would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Yes, it was, but it doesn't work properly with the x64. Now all right!
    Thanks a lot ...

Now you can change the name of this tool with 'CyclopSafetyCamera Tools' to 'Locked POI Patcher' or 'Locked POI Tools', for example.

Garmin has just released new firmware for Nuvi 13xx/14xx and several other Nuvis to disable speed cam alert features in france. Refer to changelog: "Updated to comply with France Safety Camera decree."

Brazil was discussing the same thing (blocking speedcam alerts on GPS). Thankfully, a judge ruled that "if the police can use an electronic device to monitor the driver, the driver is entitled to have an electronic device to help him know he is being monitored".

We have posted all available products from Garmin premium services of Cyclops™ Safety Cameras. No Turkey yet in their product portfolio and this thread is "only" about Cyclops Safety Cameras.

And how accurate is this list?

    Regards,
You will find all the available Cyclops Safety Cameras countries and their files in this thread. I'll guess that accuracy might vary from country to country and the original sources that collects the data. The technique is however special with Cyclops since they use Garmin Content Toolkit and provides POI-data that only gives warnings for the actual direction you're travelling in. Many POI providers gives (false) warnings for POIs that's meant for traffic in the opposite direction.

    Thanks for this info Ballebar.
Yes, it is how fast that the source collect the new date... but I think it is fast... like the updates rolling fast in.
Next step for me is how to learn to use them

    Regards,
