Thread: NATMAP 2008 (updated 2011) Australia TOPO | OZIEXPLORER | 513 maps

This Natmap upload might hve been useful if the .map files were correct.
But not only points every file to C:\Users\Jack\Mapping\NATMAP 250K\GEOTIFF\
Also the file extensions inside the .map are useless.

Check [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for the definitions of the AU Datums and Projections.
If you want to create proper maps you should start with the basics - that means testing the finnished product and making sure the correct Datums and Projections are used.
At this stage the above upload is useless and the files not working.

By the way: maps I checked from the Natmap collection in post#1 show they were published 2001.
Would help to actually know which maps might be up to date or at least from 2008.
Not sure about other users but a map that is over 10 years old is pretty much useless.
