Yep, it does that, don't know why, probably because it knows there is newer version. Just hit the back button and use it normally.

Yep, that's why I said the GPS had to be on prior to starting the program.
Third, even outside,with clear view of the sky, it takes around 20 minutes to get the fix. And sometimes it just doesn't get it at all.
