Thread: NAVIGON Europe 5.5.0 patched

First I renamed Navagon to xxNavagon.
Then Uninstall the app and stared clean.

The first app I installed was NAVIGON.v.5.5.0.b.108055001
Let it download what was needed. (500 mb or more )
Then I closed the APP
Then install NAVIGON_Europe_v5.5.0_FreshMaps_InApps over NAVIGON.v.5.5.0.b.108055001.

All inapps were active.

Then I copied each folder items over to the new Navigon folders. xxNavigon to Navigon

Did the data folder items first. xxnavigon/data to Navigon/data
Did not over write what was downloaded already.
Then I copied the maps in the map folder to the new Navigon folder. xxnavigon/map to Navigon/map
Do not over write what was downloaded there too.
Always skip.
Now for the last I copied the Items in the poi folder over to the New Poi folder. xxnavigon/Poi to Navigon/Poi
Again I did not let it over write what was there already.

I check to make sure everything was OK.
I then deleted the xxNavagon folder it was not needed any more.


My tablet is rooted.

Hi chambers,

Tried all this as you described, no luck.
I copied the navigon folder to the PC and deleted everything Navigon, also the Navigon stuff on ext SD
Rebooted.
Installed 5.5.0.b.108055001, installed & download all files needed and worked fine.
After that I installed NAVIGON_Europe_v5.5.0_FreshMaps_InApps.
Installed completely.

But when I open the app I got again this message before Navigon loads.



In Dutch of course.

Translation :

Unfortunately, the application can not be used on this device because one or more essential functions
are not supported.
If the application is bougt than 15 minutes ago, de- install it directly,
so Google does not bring this into account .
A credit note at a later date is not possible.

Only thing I can do is close that window : Navigon closes.

My idea is that the inApp app wants to unlock all extras, also extras that cannot be installed
on some devices because they are not supported for some reason I don't know now.
Extras like live traffic ( My tablet has no SIM card ) maybe ?

An unlock app where you can choose between extras to unlock could work maybe, one can try one by one if it works.

So, in short, I think I should give up

Hi Rider,

I just tried 2 ASUS MeMo Pad 7 and the same problem you are having.

It seems to be a problem with ASUS MeMo Pad.

Tried it on a Acer E39 phone and that worked with no problems at all.

Same with a Samsung Tab 3 7. That worked with no problems at all.

I do not know if this can be fixed or not for ASUS MeMo Pad.
