For iGO 8:
Open "sys.txt" with a text editor (example: notepad) and modify these lines with the following values:

For IGO Primo:
Try another igo, this version works great on my GPS Navigon 64mb ram, should work on your.(res 480x272, post 14):

hi friend give me 330 and it's empty
when i connect him to pc i get orange mio screen and pc to device and internally it's empty
my guess someone delete all
can i install on this visual gps to run from flash (size 2gb) and on sd put that no2 with igo prime to run that ?
and how ?
and last is it possible to use garmin on it too if yes which one ?
will these 2019 maps on sticky work with it ?

The procedure is simple
- download the contents form post #7, put it in the root of the blank card, add the maps for iGO, and that's it. Put card in device off, turn it on, voila.

No, you can not use Garmin, different OS (Garmin have their own). Version that is available for WinCE is too old, too old content and very problematic.

There is a possibility, I did a long time ago, to download software from the MIO site, and to perform device recovery. Or even find the right firmware (if still available).
You can even download unlocked Mio Mireo (black edition) software and insert it into your device, but it's maps are also outdated.

So, using device with SD/internal unlocker and iGO on it is still the best choice.

i dont need old software that mio have before for visual gps ??
or it will work over sd without visual gps ?
visual mio unlock i mean

cant find anywhere mio desktop that work with this one or dvd files so i can restore him

Over 7 year user did not bother to read Forum Rules... I merged your last two posts.

In this way:
the most of navi devices are designed to do auto update software by just inserting a proper card (with firmware) into them and resetting them.
When booting, they first contact the card (if present), and read the content from it (update).
This feature is an exploit for making unlockers.
This bypasses system limitations, the factory launcher, and practically only invokes the OS (WinCE).

Then runs a launcher that someone is made (from card), in this case Visual GPS, or SimpleShell, or Costas's...
So, you don't need any software on device.

ok
all went just fine with visual gps ,it install fine
then i move 3 folders from post 7 for igo8 to sd card
then copy maps in to igo8 folder content licence
then i turn device on with card in it .pass mio screen and i get usb screen and nothing black screen
what i did wrong now?

Browse iGO section a little bit. Read carefully

ok did that .someone set all like that on that map pack from 2019
but this time i get all time black screen after orange mio
i install visual gps and was fine till i turn of and add sd card with igo8
next couple times black screen
edit
cant find solution to fix that
from time to time i get popup

Application MortScript.exe has
performed an illegal operation
and will be shut down

windows cant see any more mio like hard drive ,,gettin some error
how to fix it ?
