This method worked great on a DNX6990HD. I had a working sd card with the latest maps and files running in the sd slot. I was able to rename GMA and UNL files to gmapsupp, put card in a USB adaptor and load to internal in unit through the USB cord by hitting the update map button. Thanks for the info. Hope this shortcut helps.
