So if I understand correctly (I rode the whole thread) DNX7230DAB can read unlocked map directly from SD card and doesn't need the map transfer into the internal flash?
So the file structure on SD should like this:
X:\GARMIN
| GMAP3D.IMG
| GMAPSUPP.IMG
+---\JCV
| xxxxxx.JCV
thanks in advance!
edit: I'll can answer to myself. Yes it's working directly form SD card on DNX7230DAB![]()

Guys where can I get UK :
Map image CNNANT 2014.30, 3Dmap, JCV 3192110A, Traffic Trends v3, InstaSearch, Fast Routing, Country State Search files
ASR2 Files
Cheers
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
This procedure worked fine for my DNX5700BT.
I put 4 maps in the SD Card (inside Garmin folder) and I could select the desired map without any problem (CN South America, Tracksource Project, COCAR Brazil and Autoguia).
I also included the JCV file in the JCV Folder (inside Garmin Folder) and it worked too.
Just POIs were uploaded from a pen drive through the USB cable.
Hope to help you.
I just downloaded the 2015 files from Garmin and I'm having some troubles. Are there files for the 2015?
This thread is my freakin saviour!! I have a DNX9990HD that I'm buying a map for the country I'm moving to for! Now I know how to load it!!!!
I downloaded from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
But I'm confused. There is a gmapsupp.img file and OpenMapChest Caribbean 2015.09.16 I extracted. I see no ASR2 files like your tutorial mentions. Do I drag the gmapsupp.img file onto gimgunlock.exe? When I do nothing happens. Not sure what to do.
Thanks!!!!!
Alex

Welcome to GPSPower alexclaytor. The downloadable version of TravelMaps Anguilla is a PC Install version offered as and exe file. After it's installed, using MapInstall you can send the map in image file format to somewhere convenient and then copy and use the gmapsupp.img in your Kenwood:
No other ancillary files will be provided such as ASR or JCV for instance. If you want an already compiled img you'll need to buy one on SD to be posted to you.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
