Why does it make no sense to use iGO even in "this condition"?
I do not intend to provoke an argument for the sake of argument. Israel's roads are constantly changing. both highways and within the cities. New roundabouts, new bridges and interchanges, and the iGO Israel map, which has not been updated for 3 years, is simply not worth the hassle of navigating within the State of Israel and it has nothing to do with regulations.
Of course, if a tourist who comes to Israel, insists on navigating with iGO as it is in its condition, he will often encounter problems and he is inviting "trouble" for himself.
Nowadays, and in general, navigation in Israel takes place on WAZE only, and its map is more accurate to the millimeter, than the Google Israel map.
