iGo Primo & iGo nextgen - content folder on external SdCard on Android 4.4.4 , 5.0 , 5.1.1

@atomantmk; install the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - which shows the correct system name of SDCard

then:
[folders]
data_folder_name="iGO_Israel" ; don´t need, the App search this Folder
has_secondary_root=1
android_secondary_root_path = "/storage/edit_SdCard-Name/addons"

store the 'basemap_xxxxx.fbl in data_folder/Content/Map - and the iGO-App always starts! no matter where secondary content folder is installed

Hi i have A CHINA ANDROID KITKAT 4.4.4 and no matter what text i add to system it cant see the maps on the ext sd card and one have any ideas...followed the first setup on this forum but still cant see maps

If [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]'s explanation do not help, then may be is missing licence or something like, do you see something when check in About->Contains->Maps ? If licence is OK, so just try another "tested" instalation instead of initial one used from China producer

Hi licences are all good its getting iGO to read the sd card is the issue i have added content folder into the addons folder and added text to .sys as suggested but not working

Hello... wairuri

on android 4.4.x to 5.1.x the name of the card is usually "/storage/extSdCard"
to be sure, check it with the total commander...
check also the folder on "addons/content/map"
also you can try with a different name instead "addons"

like mine:

has_secondary_root=1
android_secondary_root_path="/storage/extSdCard/SharedMaps"

or post your sys here.....

My decсzion - android flyme 6.3.2 on Meizu m3s. OLD but only for GPS

I Made folder iGO on sd card and put in ALL structure of Primo Is 9.6.29.636868. In phone storage made empty folder iGO.
and my section in sys.txt is:

[folders]
linked_root_list="/storage/sdcard1/iGO" ;PUT ALL FILES HERE (SD card - Total commander says "ssdcard1")
has_secondary_root=1
android_secondary_root_path="/storage/emulated/0/iGO" ;Here primo will makes folders and saves data(folder SAVE, content...)
data="/storage/emulated/0/iGO" ; This is phone (inside memory)

No folders in "Android/data...." and so on.

I installed iGO on a Samsung tablet A8
the maps are shown but the gps does not work
any idea how to solve this issue?

However, this problem only exists on your tablet, so no one can help you because the device is probably defective or the GPS is switched off or the iGO installation is incorrect or the SYS.text does not conform to the rules
