good job these explanations are for android You think it is the same thing for WINCE ?
Tutorial written under the influence of questions japseye (Thx) ... to use for anyone interested
OK. let's do this:
Exit the house. Turn navigation. Wait until you catch the signal and selects you to the screen where you are. Click on the screen and select a point on the road at a distance of approx. 2 km. from where you are.
Then in the menu (called differently depending on the skin you are using), select - Add speedcamera!
Again, additional menu will appear where you must select the characteristics for this speedcamera. - Look at the drawings below. You have shown step by step how to add speedcamera. Later, you can delete it.
, ,
,
- Now you do not have to drive far to the check entries.
What do we do next:
1 copy just in case your current sys.txt (eg. 2 in the phone do a copy and mark it _sys.txt)
2 Clear the previous section [warning] and [speedcam CAT (all)]
* - Here a small note:
in the example that you sent a record; S P E E D C A M - C A T: 1 !!!
No wonder - you did not have warnings about speedcam stationery - because these radars are CAT: 0! CAT: 1 - to Mobile speedcamera !!!
And what is the assignment of speedcam types of devices have shown and described in my post no. 6 ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
3 Insert the following entry to the [warning]
[warning]
speedcam_enabled = 1
is_spoken = 1
speedcam_warning = 1
/ if you want to all sections of warning used was the same distance dependence of the speed warning is additionally insert here the line as follows: /
warn_distances = "100: 1000.80: 800.60: 600.40: 400"
/ if you want different for każdj section - it's a line that you insert into each speedcam CAT and modify entries in this line - for example,
warn_distances = "120: 1000.100: 800.80: 600.60: 400", or
warn_distances = "80: 800.60: 600.40: 400"
in this section [warning] you can still declare whether the program is to inform about the speedcam (yes / no), and if so: at speed, or approach at all.
Declares this by typing the following line:
speedcam_soundtype = 2; = 0 (none), = 1 (or above), = 2 (approximation)
4 Now the most important part - the content of which depends on whether you are using TTS or not
a.- for non-TTS version - Read and understand the topic by BROWN DOG (THX) - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - there you detail what and how and where !!!
b. - TTS version:
Here you have a speech - are reading the TTS, or sound information - in the form of wav file playback. I wrote about earlier.
* selection of the notification is made by a declaration = speech or = sound
Declaration on the lines in the [speedcam: CAT] and example for Category "0" - that is, SPEED CAMERA - looks like this:
; S P E E D C A M - C A T: 0
[speedcam_category: 0]
warn_distances = "120: 1000.80: 950.60: 700.40: 500"; speed / distance alert
approach_beep_distances = "400,400"; range (m) measures the signal "beep"
approach_beep_spoken_type = none; = None / sound / speech (TTS only)
approach_beep_sound = "! proxi"; sound if approach_beep_spoken_type = sound
* ("! proxi" - is the name of the sound file located in the folder / ui_android / audio /
or
approach_beep_speech = "Warning!" the voice of the TTS speech approach_beep_spoken_type =
activated_spoken_type = speech
activated_speech = "Speed camera ahead." (if activated_spoken_type = speech)
activated_min_speech_repeat_delay = -1; without repeating
overspeed_spoken_type = sound; signal speeding
overspeed_sound = "! alert2"; sound if overspeed_spoken_type = sound
overspeed_speech = "Over Speed"; Voice if overspeed_spoken_type = speech
min_frc = 15
to identify whether the speed limit should be on the map, or speedcam.txt need to add the line:
use_road_speedlimit =
1 - Displays the speed limit are given in maps
0 - Displays the speed limit are given in speedcam.txt
ITD - for all categories.
But beware - to make it all work, you need to have a current file speedcam.txt - eg. Downloaded from topic'u [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] updated.html (Korabi THX
in case of doubt ask ...
I greet and wish careful driving

yannick.al
I have to disappoint you - unfortunately for WinCE must be combined with another type of notification - only with messages recorded audio file - that is:
You run the logger - into the microphone You or Any Beautiful Blonde talking about such .: "Warning Radar mobile" - the file format you are converting to .ogg format (only the format reads WinCE) and save it to the program (of course, in the right place).
Another possibility is the use of speech instead of stored as a sound - the same type of beep sound files, ding, dingdong, etc.
It is to be done - but a bit time consuming.

Hi wojpen
(Yes - its me again :-)
I have read/searched/re-read again - but I cant get my speedcam to behave as I would like: Its driving me insane with continuous beeps when I approach a cam!
I have this setting:
[warning]
speedcam_enabled=1
speedcam_warning=1
is_spoken=0
speedcam_continuous_approach_beep_when_tonal=0 ;default=1
As I understand it is:
[warning]
speedcam_enabled=1 (Speedcam "ON"
speedcam_warning=1 (Warning "ON")
is_spoken=0 (Beep "ON")
speedcam_continuous_approach_beep_when_tonal=0 ;default=1 (Continuous beeps "OFF")
Or have I totally misunderstood it - again?
Thanks in advance!!
try this:
[warning]
speedcam_max_lookahead=1000
speedcam_warning=1
overspeed_sound=0
say_camera_distance=1
say_camera_speed_limit=1
Hi Phildu91
Great - copied to txt, and Ill give it a try on my way home from work - I pass at least 10 cams!
Edit:
Well it didn’t do the trick - is still beeping like crazy
@wojpen
would you explain the right solution to alert with personal recorded sound(and not TTS) speedcam and others alarm points in iGO Avic 9.18.28.624772. I have already converted alarm sound in .wawe extension and put them in folder ui_nextgen\audio. Did i do the right thing?
Thank you.
Friend - I'd do it with great pleasure, but so far - AVIC it for me, "Black Box"

Greetings from The Castle.
Thanks for the kind offer!!
Just to recap:
Navi is a Samsung S4 / Lollipop / iGo Promo 2.0 9.6.29.596752 / NON TTS / GjAK_v2.3_AriNe_5da.
I would very much like this behaviour when I approach ALL speed cams:
1: One Beep when a speed cam is e.g. 1000 m away
2: Another beep when the speed cam is e.g. 300 m away
No beeps between those 2 beeps - and no beeps after the 300 m beep!
No Over speeding beeps :-)
In an ideal world it would be nice if it was like this instead:
1: When speed cam is 1000 m ahead, a voice says: Speed cam 1000 m ahead
2: When speed cam is 300 m ahead, a voice says: Speed cam 300 m ahead
- but this would be a TTS "thing" - right?
Again - thank you for taking time to look into this!
Cheers
