jan, before i download it (am on a slow internet), two questions: (a) does your version show the altitude
on the screen? or can it be added? and (b), can i add my normal 40+ european countries maps/pois into
    the respective folders?

    @henry66
    (a)
The heights depend on the contents of the DEM folder
    (b)
Yes, you can easily add maps and speed cameras, sort maps without "_nt, _tt, _ot" because the map changer recognizes map types

To display altitude go to Settings>Visual Guidance Settings>Data Fields and in the top left corner select "Fields with or without Route" , whichever you want. Pick which box you want it displayed in then choose Altitude from the "General" list.
This is the same for all versions of Primo.
As has already been said, you must have the proper .dem file installed

to defend in 2019 a GPS-unit and programs that are from 2011, is not always easy. but if i compare my old china-navi with the almost new T0MT0M of my wife, i know for sure why i am sticking with mine.

have now found an old version (( |GO PRIM GjAk V07 9.6.2.209584 )), runs speedily and supplied with the newest maps very satisfactory. does and has all i need, including a very readable altitude indication in the bottom bar.

if there wasnt this ONE problem: for me of great importance is the recording and later export of tracks. and there, on export of existing tracks, comes an error mssg ''Cannot find storage card path'' - and whatever i do, wherever i look, i cannot find a solution.

does anybody here know how to find this elusive path? and then how and where to change it? or use it in the existing setup?

your help would be more than appreciated.

    Edit:

found a solution (actually somebody else, Gigya, pointed it out) - but just in case someone here also needs it some day:

in SYS.TXT under FOLDERS you have to enter - sdcardpath="\Storage Card" - where Storage Card can be anything like - ResidentFlash - or - SD - or - SDMMC - whatever the root for you PRIMO is.

Working for me, no problem. Nice loading...
Remove TTS folder, ux, gfx...leave only one language
    Use generic sys.txt
