Hi,
I have a Motorhome with the Blaupunkt Philidelphia 945 Double Din head unit, the unit runs most of the media throughout the Motorhome as it is linked to the Satellite TV, Parking Cameras, Radio, etc.
It also runs the Satellite Navigation via iGo Primo Truck, the version that was supplied new with the Motorhome is 2016, and whilst it works great, I did not fancy having to keep using Naviextras and pay €150 for one off map updates so I started to look at other options as I am a lifelong Techie and enjoy the challenge.
The Blaupunkt unit is WinCE, and the Nav software runs direct from the microSD Card.
I now have a newer version of iGo Primo Truck on a new micro SD Card, and the software runs with 2019 maps and I very much like the look of the software, however I cannot get the sound to work from the Nav software (no sounds at all from it). The radio will play fine in the background, but no Nav sound. I have gone to the Nav settings, and all Sounds and Dings are on to full, but nothing. I have tried selecting different voices, but nothing. I have also swapped the radio source to the external input just so I have nothing playing in the background, but still no sound from the Nav. I have tried the MP3 Player from the utilities within iGo Primo and still no sound.
I have tried copying and pasting my sys.txt [sound] settings into the new version and that didn't work. I also found on another forum a similar issue, and tried the suggested sys.txt [sound] edits from that, but that didn't work either.
Anyone any ideas please?

Hi,
Thanks for the links.
I had a look there, but the links (post #8) are dead, also the version that I now have running seems a good version in everything but the sound and it has been nicely modified for Motorhome use with all relevant poi's preloaded and it just looks nice, lol,
Also it isn't just the voice / tts, I get absolutely no sound from the Nav Software, not even a beep or an mp3 player.
Standard Primo can not be used for Blaupunkt devices. Their (sound) hardware is different and the Primo has been modified for them. A similar story is for Alpine, Zenec...
Links from post #8 are very alive...read message from your browser more carefully
