Yea SYS.txt My bad !
Some of the info in the SYS file may not be compatible with your system ....
Here are some from different IGO 's ...
If you remove info , then your GPS should revert to default settings ... ( Should )

Hi Friends, i need help with my Sys.txt. I tried editing the Sys.txt to get the Voice announcement working... but i cant get it to work. no announcement at all when i overspeed, or when a Speedcam is there or when i come near the curve etc...

Here is my Sys.txt content.

Ok Been playing with the SYS file ...
This is as small as I have got it and it works on mine ...

As for voice , the SYS file is set to GERMAN ... So delete those instructions ... And it should run default ...

I'm assuming you are using this version of iGO. So normal TTS is working but overspeed and speed alert isn't? Those are TTS Pro functions and depend on 1) the skin and 2) the correct voice.zip file.

I have inactive content for here_q3_2015 Europe (fda,ftr) although i have every possible licence and on other versions of Primo they are active, is this program patched only for Australia?

Thanks for your reply, but i want the voice announcement even when i overspeed or deroute from the normal route or when a child safe zone is approaching etc etc... it would be very nice if you could tell me which skin and which voice zip i need to use for this...

I dont think its patched for Australia ..
Should be world wide ...

Originally had German maps / audio / etc .
Just be careful with what you remove when replacing files ..

+ dont forget to tweak that SYS file ..

Technically the SYS file might work with nothing more than

[gps]
port="auto"
baud="auto"

As everything should go to the devices default settings

But you're not answering what I asked. Is normal TTS working? And what version of proggy you're using?
