You are not "missing" anything essential.
Data.zip files are responsible for supported resolutions of the program, as well as for accompanying fonts, sounds, icons, and some other functions.
In essence, different data.zip files (if they are correct) have no impact on the functioning of the program, more for "cosmetics".
Infinity 2.4 package (and many other clones) is based on the standard 405512 version, it have same exe, all major functions and accompanying files, the difference is just boils down to branding and appearance.
Why do you have issue? Who knows, can be many reasons, probably just a small bug in data.zip or sys file.
