    Folks, i'm using a Motorola G2 with Android 6.0. When using iGO 9.6.29.596752 it is very unstable, and give me a black screen when changing or starting Nav. The Nav is still running though, audio works even with black screen. Shutting down and open again sometimes fix the problem. Installed several times and deleted 'save' etc.etc.

    Hello,
    I remind you about the need to clean before installing the program - phone cache memory !!!
    There is always a lot of "trash" from previous installations, which "trash" can affect the stability of the program.
    In addition - read the "warning" included in the first post and correct your sys.txt

    Hey Wojpen,
    1st of all, a big thank you for sharing! You are truly a genius.

    I request you for a special help regarding my typical issue as mentioned below:

    1. I am using Blaupunkt's Cape Town 940 (2 DIN car Infotainment system) running on Android 4.4.1 (JB)- rooted device.
    2. I am using iGO 9.6.29.596752 (as posted by you)- working perfectly.
    3. I have used other version of iGO posted in this forum- all worked fine.

    But, I face one problem in all the version of iGo Primo that, when there is announcement, iGO primo reduces my multi-media volume to 7%- something which you cant here.

    So, I used Volume Locker from Google playstore- which helps me to restore the media volume immediately after announcement. This is a temporary solution I worked out.

    Another problem is that, It mutes my mp3 song for a while when announcement is going on. I could not fix or find a solution for this. I searched a lot in various forums on this subject.
    When I use other GPS navigation Apps (like Sygic or Mireo's Dont Panic), it does not mute or pause mp3 songs- rather the announcement and songs can be heard same time.

    I tired to make changes in sys.txt as mentioned below but nothing worked for me.

    [sound]
    working=1
    dev_channels=2
    dev_bits=16
    dev_smp_rate=48000
    dev_buffer_size=9216
    csv_voice_enabled=1
    ding=0
    ding_muted=1
    os_volume=255
    user_volume=255
    voice_volume=255
    media_volume=255
    mic_volume=255
    effect_volume=255
    guidance_volume=255
    os_muted=0 ; 1 - sound off
    maneuver_chimes=0
    mute_os_key=0
    queue_length=200
    sound_q_length=200
    use_os_volume=1
    pause_mp3_sooner=0
    suspend_time=0

    Can you please help me to fix these 2 issues:
    1. When iGO Primo annoucement starts, it automatically reduces my media volume to 7% ( by the way, my Cape town 940 device has separate volume levels for media/dvd/nagivation/radio etc) which you can set from 0 to 100%.
    It should not reduce the volume.

    2. It should not pause mp3 songs during announcement
    I have tried all the combination in navigation_audio_stream=3 (4,5,etc), but nothing worked for me.
    I want the announcement and mp3 to get played same time.

    Look forward for your invaluable help.

    Thank you, WojPen!
    Regards

    Hi Mate @dinesh
    Thanks for the good word.
    Sorry I can not help you because I completely do not know the devices 2DIN.
    Hint was that on our forum this topic had already been moved - so use search option and search for posts 2_DIN type, volume, etc. 2_DIN
    You should find it.
    If not - go to the section Discussion and place a new Post - question, like I have such and such a problem - how to solve it?
    PS do not know if it helps, but I've seen sys.txt files with records - navigation_audio_stream = 0 (6) - try.

    Hello,
    If you used the "My" package? as a whole - have a file data.zip multimode.ini file such records (check it):

    [modes]
    ; mx = WidthMin..WidthMax, HeightMin..HeightMax, Folder
    ; OR
    ; mx = Width, Height, Folder

    m1 = 400..480,196..320 "480_272"
    m2 = 234..320,400..480, "480_272"
    m3 = 768..960,400..600 "800_480"
    m4 = 480..600,700..960, "800_480"
    m5 = 1024..1280,552..800 "1024_768"
    m6 = 600..800,960..1280, "1024_768"

    *for attempts to do so

    [modes]
    ; mx = WidthMin..WidthMax, HeightMin..HeightMax, Folder
    ; OR
    ; mx = Width, Height, Folder

    ; m1 = 400..480,196..320 "480_272"
    ; m2 = 234..320,400..480, "480_272"
    ; m3 = 768..960,400..600 "800_480"
    ; m4 = 480..600,700..960, "800_480"
    ; m5 = 1024..1280,552..800 "1024_768"
    ; m6 = 600..800,960..1280, "1024_768"
    and insert the following lines:

    m3 = 900..1050,450..620 "800_480"
    m4 = 550..620,850..1050, "800_480"

    save the changes and confirm the update archive.
    *Remove the contents of the folder SAVE and start again.
    Let me know what worked and show the screen -
    Navigation Menu / More / Help / About /
    On this screen you are given the actual image size. Take a screen horizontally and vertically.

    PS.
    If that does not help you do so:
    [modes]
    ; mx = Width Min..Width Max, HeightMin..HeightMax, Folder
    ; OR
    ; mx = Width, Height, Folder
    ; m1 = 400..480,196..320 "480_272"
    ; m2 = 234..320,400..480, "480_272"
    ; m3 = 768..960,400..600 "800_480"
    ; m4 = 480..600,700..960, "800_480"
    m5 = 1020..1280,500..800 "1024_768"
    m6 = 500..800,900..1280, "1024_768"

    As you can see we change the parameters correctly display the image.
    The first attempt relates to the use of another interface.
    second - changing the resolution to the proper interface

    PS2 Probably - bug is in line m5 ( in orginal multimode.ini)

    Your real res. - in landscape is - 1024x527, in multimode.ini is 1024x552

    If you are using and solutions - image should be larger

    @dinesh

    I have cra*cked version of the original iGO Primo directly from Blaupunkt Cape Town 945...PM me if you wish to try it..I think it should work exactly the same way as the original. But I cannot test it's behaviour because I don't have Cape Town 945 on my hand.
