I think you r right, nicer options and graphics but not to nice to the touch, I guess is because requires more RAM and that's why slows down everything.

Did you change it back to igo 8 or primo?

Right now, I'm using Primo 2.4 (9.6.13.405512). But I was using iGo8 for a long time before switching to Primo for good. iGo8 is the fastest, smoothest GPS app for my 2DIN head-unit (a Rosen GM1010).

Primo speed is perfectly acceptable though - and it has a lot more features that I do like, so I'm using Primo now and will stick with it unless I run into major issues. iGo8 is just faster and smoother on screen updates in the 3D interface (which is what I use 100% of the time). Primo screen updates are a little less "fluid". But since you don't normally sit there watching it anyway, it's not really a big deal....

I still prefer Loquendo TTS though - voices are just more natural sounding - and since I recently found that newer versions of iGo 2.4 (such as 405512) also work with Loquendo voices, I'm pretty happy with Primo now (currently using Loquendo 7 TTS with it).

Nice! So I guess I give it a shot, did you happen to have it handy? I will like to give it a shot, I might also use a faster SD card, it might help 👍

Actually, I just realized that this thread, while having "NextGen" in the title, is actually just a heavily-skinned version of Primo 2.4! :-)

If you want to try a "stock" version of 2.4 (same version - 9.6.13.405512), here is a link:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

A "true" Nexgen version is quite different. What I meant by it being less "finger friendly" is that the areas that you touch to do things are smaller, so it's not as easy to control it while in the car. Very different interface than iGo8 or Primo...

Sorry - I should have mentioned that - you want to use the WD .exe. The other one is for working with Chinese maps or something like that...

Got it, thanks👍 I noticed the building folder is empty, you don't use this option? I will like to see 3D buildings, is any way to get this? Thanks.

Yes, I use buildings. What I linked to was just the bare minimum (basically, just the app) - you'll still need to add all of the other stuff - buildings, dem, map, poi, speedcams, TTS files and voices, etc. Basically, it can use all of the same files that you used for the "nextgen" version that you were using from this thread. Really, you only need to change the executable, data.zip, branding.zip, replace/remove ui_igo9 folder, remove save folder, etc...

I really tried to understand your request I guess you want ZIP file of cracked NextGen exe for WinCE.
Then, look in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
My suggestion is to read whole topic, it is very useful.
