"Hello joomy,You are confusing two completely different navigation systems. iGO Luna and iGO Nextgen (Israel 9.18.27.955559) use entirely different engines, structures, and map formats. You cannot just borrow folders or configs from Luna and expect Nextgen to work properly. This release is a pure, updated version of the program itself (APK + base files) to ensure compatibility with modern Android versions. It is not a bloated pre-made compilation. If you want skins (like Pongo), advanced speedcam settings, and audio announcements, you need to install them as add-ons on top of this clean version, exactly how it's normally done.Since you accidentally deleted your original base folder during the reinstall, here is what you need to do:Download the original installation folder from the main post again to get the clean, correct Nextgen structure.Put the root folder on your Internal Storage and do NOT uninstall the APK anymore.Clear the app cache/data in Android settings, then launch it so it hooks to the correct clean folder. If you need advanced speedcam audio and visual features, download the proper Nextgen UX utilities or Pongo skin and place them into the ux and content folders of this build. Leave Luna files alone!"

    Hello Andrey Form,
    Thank you for your reply!

    1. Yes, you are right they are different.
I do not mix them with expectation to work properly, yes. I just made a try, in order to see if something will go live or not.
Because I don't have any other iGo stuff. Hence my ask at the end of my message.
    2. Yes, I downloaded the content of the 1st post. But there are only two .APK files there.
No "original installation folder" as you mentioned and as I asked.
    3. You instructed me to NOT uninstall .APK. OK. But at that moment I have succesfully installed the "Arimi.apk", and it is working. If I install one of these two .APKs from the OP, then:
4a. Do I have to unistall the actual "Arimi.apk" or not ?
-If (NOT):Isn't it much easlier to have the "installation folder" alone from semwhere and just to put it into the actual, running directory ?
    4b.
    - If (YES): Does during re-installation of one of these (which one) the actual folder will go away again ?
    5. Yes, I would to try the extras and a.f.a.i.k they are under the form of "ux" files and have to be put in the ux folder in the main installation folder. But as for now, I even don't have this ux folder, neither even the right ... voices (hence the try with the Luna ones) ...
    6. Also, one more question regarding the extras; are they specific for each edition of Nextgen, i.e do have I to search for ux files exactly for this release here ?
    7. A.f.a.i.k the Skins are edition specific, please corrrect me if I'm wrong.
So, maybe I have to look out for a specific skin, exactly for that edition, right..
    Regards

Usually, everything starts with installing a skin. A skin is the working set. Any skin for 32‑bit programs will suit you. In turn, skins for 32‑bit programs support any 32‑bit APK. This theme contains only the APK itself; you need to download the skin in another theme, such as pongo, arimi, or wandel, garigor.

    A-a-h, Yes !
    That's a milestone in the process !
    Thank you very much !

I have looked on the skin topic already.
I will give a try to wandel skin first, as it has its own thread and is regularily supported, as it seems...

Just generally speaking: what if I don't want to use skin at all ?
How should be the process, then ?

    And regardless this quesiton:
-is it possible to have the content of the "installation folder" copied from another, already made installation, and just to copy to my folders ?

Don’t be afraid to install a custom skin! It won’t permanently change the software or break your navigation system. The main difference between the default skin and an unlocked custom skin is the number of features available directly on your screen without having to dig into complex configurations.Default Skin vs. Unlocked Custom SkinDefault (Factory) Skin: This is all about strict limitations. It only gives you the bare minimum: an arrow on the map, a route line, and basic voice prompts. If you want to change the font size, show lane guidance, or set up warnings for specific types of speed cameras, the default skin simply won't let you do it.Unlocked Custom Skin (Pongo, Arimi, Vandel): This offers total freedom by bringing all of the software's hidden features to the surface. It comes pre-packed with advanced visual elements, detailed speedcam alerts, truck routing settings, and dozens of useful informational widgets.Everything is Managed via Buttons, Not Code! The best part is that you don't need to open the sys.txt configuration file and manually type in complex code to customize the app.Almost every feature in a custom skin can be easily turned on or off with a simple checkbox in the menu while the navigator is running. If you don't like a specific button, find an on-screen widget distracting, or get annoyed by frequent alert beeps, you just go into the interface settings and turn it off with a single tap.Custom skins are designed for everyday users. You get maximum functionality managed just like any other modern smartphone app.
