@HLIAS
Try installing on an A15; it works on an A16.
Install through the APK properties, also, Package Installer
Is there any chance it will work for Android 15?

Hello, I woild like to share my modest experience with htis release.
First fo all, I decided to give it a try, as from what I have read, it is made in the memory of a guy with huge contributions to the NAVI SW world. R.I.P.
Now, I read all instructions, made so detailed, that there is almost no chance to make a mistake. TNX to Andrey_Form!
I made the test on a trial device, a Samsung A3 (17). Device is upgraded to A13, but via Lineage OS. All other stuff, more than 100 apps are runing flawlessly. Amongst them is iGo Luna, with HERE maps 2025Q4. It's content is on the SD too.
I put all of the iGo ARIMI stuff on the SD, and install the .apk. All maps are in-place, as well as the speedcams, poi and all other stuff.
But when the already intalled icon was clicked, the following message appeared: "Missing or incomplete folder: /sdcard/iGO_Arimi"
Before making this post, I put the error here in the Search field, but nothing apppeared. That's why I'm asking here fro some help, in order to make this app running. Thank you !
Hello! The error “Missing or incomplete folder: /sdcard/iGO_Arimi” is a classic issue with iGO Nextgen builds on modern versions of Android.Starting from Android 11 and above (including your Lineage OS based on Android 13/14), Google completely changed the storage access rules via its Scoped Storage policy. Apps can no longer freely access the root of the storage using the old /sdcard/ path.To get your iGO ARIMI up and running, you need to either move the main directory or update the folder paths. Here are two proven methods to fix this:
Option 1: Move the main folder to the Internal Storage (Recommended)This is the most stable method for modern Android versions, as newer OS versions often block apps from executing files directly from an external SD card.Move the entire iGO_Arimi folder (excluding the heavy map files) from the root of your SD card to the root of your device's Internal Storage.Leave only the heavy content (like maps and POIs) on the external SD card if you are low on internal space. Ensure the folder structure mirrors this: SD_Card/addons/content/map, etc.Open the sys.txt file inside the iGO_Arimi folder on your internal storage and edit the
[folders] section to point to your external SD card:ini
(Replace XXXX-XXXX with the actual unique ID of your SD card, which you can easily find using an app like Total Commander).Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
Option 2: Correct the path in sys.txt (To keep everything on the SD card)If you prefer to keep the entire build on the SD card, you must provide the app with its exact modern system path, since the generic /sdcard/ alias no longer works.Use a text editor to open the sys.txt file located inside your iGO_Arimi folder.Find the [folders] section and modify it as follows (comment out old lines using a semicolon:ini
.(Remember to replace XXXX-XXXX with your SD card's specific system name). If the app still throws an error, try moving the iGO_Arimi folder on your SD card to the official designated app directory where Android grants full read/write access:SD_Card/Android/data/YOUR_APP_PACKAGE_NAME/files/iGO_Arimi (The folder name like com.naviextras... depends on your specific .apk installation package).Crucial Extra Step:Go to your Android Settings -> Apps -> iGO ARIMI -> Permissions and manually grant access to Files and Media. If available in your Lineage OS build, toggle on "Allow management of all files".Which option would you like to try? If you go with Option 1, let me know if you have enough internal storage space for the base iGO_Arimi folder (without the maps), and I can help you write the exact lines for your sys.txt file.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links

Respect, Real Pro !
thank you very much for your attention and efforts.
I would to take the option no2, as the device is really in lack of space on teh itnernal memory.
So, I tried the suggested correction in the sys - no luck.
Here I moved the app in the directory with the "official" permited path - no luck.
I checked the ID numbers of the SDcard as per TotalCommander - they are same as in the sys used by the igo Luna (which is working properly).
I suppose I'm missing something in the sys itself. Here you are a link for DL it:

access code: 218744
Hope this can give an idea of the situation.
TNX!
Edit: All permissions are given to the app and listed as given in the OS. No miss.

I am not a real pro, but i correct several mistakes that i found.
You can give a try. If not wait for Andrey.

Hello nabucco,
I really apreciate your input !
Thank you !
Of corse, I gave it a try, yes. But no luck.
Got same old message for the missing folder.
As at that point I ran out of ideas, in awaiting for Andrey's hint, I tried his first advice - Option no1.
I suceed to free up a few hundreds of MBs at the internal memory, so I moved/put there the ready-made folder from the SD.
I thought it is a good idea after such a move, to reinstall the app as I had the .apk there. So, I uninstall it and reinstall it. But I made a fatal miss. I left the ready-made folder iGO_Arimi into the internal memory under Android/data/...
And after the reinstall it has disappeared !
And I now don't have anything except the maps, pois and buidings handy.
I borrowed two basic voices and the respective language files and phoneme from iGo Luna running there on the SD, put them into the iGo_Arimi newly created but empty folder on the device, put a new sys file with a single line - the one as per Andrey's instruction and: Voila! It started
Well, it is just the very very basic app, with only a few settings, but it is working yet !
And as per Andrey's advice, there are only maps and pois on the SD now. Well, I now don't have handy anything else, though ..
If anybody is having it, would need the full "original" content of the iGO_Arimi folder, but for the internal memory and also some additonal options like speedcams announce settings (now missing), etc..
I will be grateful, again
Regards
