global_cfg is latest and lang is English (US) still the same... But all other countries are ok.
Edit: On TomTom maps this doesnt happens, but i prefer Here. After reinstalling program, starts well, and showing M, E etc. but after program reopening, there is x instead

you are with default skin ... it is font problem...
first... doublikate the "the_skin.zip" for backup...
open "the_skin.zip\ui_nextgen\fonts" and remove the fonts Dosis_xxx and try...
