We encounter the same problem with iGO Luna (with or without Pongo skin).
That's why I posted here.
Since the problem is common to iGO nextgen and iGO Luna, I could have "posted" in several places.
Voice recognition worked well with lower android versions.

The UX vr.zip of iGO (Pongo skin) Nextgen Israel and iGO Luna do not have the same capacity:
205 KB for Nextgen Israel
208 KB for Luna
I made a test by replacing the vr.zip of Nextgen by that of Luna.
We no longer have a "voice recognition" option in the settings
On the other hand I just installed iGO Nextgen Israel 9.18.27.658108 (Pongo skin) and iGO Luna (skin Pongo) on my samsung Note 2 (android 4.4.2) and I confirm that the voice recognition works.
