Thread: Default skin - energized - third option

There is no "SKIN"....it is default/original skin...with minor code edits. Hmm that is very interesting...I find it very fast and responsive...

Hi, I have Huawei Mediapad M5, this device is fast enough, and I am telling this because I compare speed with Igo Israel with Pongo skin and IGO Pal with this default skin and with the same sys.inf so IGO Israel works a little bit faster than IGO Pal.

And yes, I want to ask is it possible to return this to default skin:

That my friend is than DEFAULT non energized PAl or with some of the skins. We added what we found to be useful.. nothing else.

Any chance to get the original icon for screenshot?

At night mode ok, but not fine on day. ugly borders...

Btw, I use SidelistButton_o4i.zip from osiris4isis. Nice ux, mybe some brave coder soul can implement show/hide function as in arimi oder pongo skin available

hmm that part did our colleague @NicuT. But you can always use ordinary LABS.ZIP from other skins and have that original ICON.

NEW FEATURES!!!

I closed this case long time ago..but I received support from another friend of mine.

Some of these options exist on PONGO/ARIMI/Vicevandel but not on DEFAULT SKIN. Everything I post is tested on default skin.

OPTIONS I GOT FROM HIM

iGO has this feature built in but it terrible. It shows POI far away from your route. Sometimes we need to taka an exit to get to it. With this two uxs you can be sure that anything it is shown is directly along the route and accessible. You can choose how many do you want and how far from the road. Awesome addition to our default skin.

3. DRAG A ROUTE
Sygic Truck has one cool feature and that is called "drag route" which means you can use ur finger and drag a route to a position of your preference. Now our default iGO has this feature too. You just to need this line in your sys. As you can see on the picture you drag as long as you want it and just drop it, IGo will calculate route. Very cool feature.

WHAT WE ARE STILL MISSING

FEATURE N0.1 - QUICK MENU - I hate when navigation screen is cluttered.
It is all about the DRIVERS EXPERIENCE, focus and useful info. Well that is where QUICK MENU jumps into.
I love how they did with PONGO/ARIMI etc.
So I believe it would have been great to have THE THE QUICK MENU so that users of default skin have their option to HIDE all those handy buttons just to clear the screen or not to use it at all but to have option to do it great.

FEATURE No.2 - SEND SHARE YOUR ETA/COORDINATES
I have already asked for this but nobody replied. It would have been great to have it. TomTom has it, WAZE has it etc etc. Imagine possibilities. Emergency case, Something happened, it is very important that people know where are your or when you will be arriving. It is just unbelievable that iGO does not have such an option. I beg you coders, please create something like that..
