Skin iGO nextgen by pongo (DISCUSSION)

I put the new pongo in Igo pal version whe i change the skin and return to normal screen i see a cloudy sky.
when i close pal and start it again cloudy sky is gone grrrrr

However, you should have browsed all 355 pages, you would easily quickly understand what to skip and what to read
After major skin changes, it is necessary to clean the cache and delete save folder. If you have something (poi, etc) saved, back it up first (and it's been written about a lot of times).
This kind of behavior that you mentioned, the problem is usually location of installation (sd card), the system and permissions.

If you are not skilled enough, do not use skin (especially not so complex).
If you care so much about the sky (which is an absolutely irrelevant item, especially while driving) then you just needed to find out how to just add it and nothing else.

So, start reading. A lot.

@Eloquient well the sky can be changed by enable internet choose scheme and then disable internet or online wheather,indeed cant change the sky only but according with @batiskaf ,will be soon

Yes the new system of wheather with scheme and sky in it, its a little tricky ,also from time to time i have to do this
Its a workaround untill be fixed However when drive cant have the eyes sticked on the gps screen,and look only the sky

Earlier Pongo skins had a ux that showed the maneuver in 2D. Someone has this add-on and could share it

In the latest Pongo pack for Nextgen (2022/02/04) among the ux you will find theese ones:

- next_maneuver_overview_ng.zip
- next_maneuver_visual.zip

NB: there is an option in the menu to activate or not this function

Updated skin dated 11/5/2022 does not read arabic language.

Arabic language now is working with updated pongo skin dated 11/5/2022. By adding new folder called fonts inside UI_nextgen folder and put inside it roboto.vfont from the old pongo skin. Then arabic language now is working.
Note . roboto.vfont is not available in the last pongo skin

Inactive menu may be in pongo skin due to lack of translation in Lang & Voice. There is no reason to refuse a balanced skin, make a translation from English into the language you need and everything will be active and will work.

@Andrey form iam using the original arabic language and voice ,I did not understand what I have to translate
Arabic language did not work only with the last update version dated 11/05 mean while it was working with all previous versions of pongo skins except this version .So I used only roboto.vfont* file from the previous skin then the update one now is working
