Inside the zip.
Search
ui_nextgen/res/
then in bright or dark or all or all three
then find your res (hdpi/ldpi...xxdpi...)

Have you checked the transparency setting.

settings/skin settings/cockpit/transparency settings day/night.

Set all three pointers to the right and see what happens.

Hello friend,
after trying so many thing and spent almost two days but no luck Hope you can spot something and come up with some solution.
well doing all change suggested by other friends here in OP I could not solve it my self but I can tell one thing it is something to do with Day/Auto/Night settings of skin .. because it only happens in Day mode. In day Mode , No matter what scheme i chose (default day/default night / custom day/ custom night) The box at bottom for current street name remains white.(It actually should be black according to pongo skin) In night mode its all good. At the moment I am using night mode all day until i found any solution to either make that box black or darker color font of current street.

Are you using Pongo's data.zip?

I only see skin errors like this with incorrect data.zip.

I think yes ... but now when i check everything as suggested erlier i also doubt that may be something wrong in data.zip. so could you please give me link for correct data.zip file i will try replacing that and see if that solve the problem.
