the counter-question: is iGO Luna the right choice for a Chinese radio navigation system 🤔🤔🤔
after all, iGO-Nextgen has proven itself very well and reliably over the years......👍
Hi guys,
I have one issue on iGO Luna on this chinese radio Hizpo S8 QF001 :
When I set it up to "sleep for 2 hours" to avoid a complete reboot of the device on engine start (on this car, the ACC line is cut during engine start), Luna display is restarting strangely : The window area of Luna in splitted in 2 equal parts vertically, and Luna is displayed in the bottom part, but the half bottom part of Luna display is out of the screen.
To recover the normal display mode, I have to go to the radio home page, then Luna is displayed in its small PIP window (but always with the truncated display), and to press Navigation menu to open Luna again in full screen. And then, the display is okay.
It seems to be an issue between the launcher context restoration and Luna, because the other applications of the radio don't have this issue on hot-restart.
Does somebody has an idea about the reason, and better, the solution to solve it ?
Thanks for your help.

You're right !
I've made a test with iGo World, and it seems to work correctly on this chinese GPS radio (just a quick test).
It's a shame, because this display problem with Luna looks like to be just a refresh event issue. Something missing or not synchronized correctly.
Of course
Luna comes from Mazda HU, so it is limited in its capabilities with other launchers. You should have thought about that before trying it.
