The thing is that the entire flow of events on modern devices (phones) does not work as it did on the old ones (standalone) - the software issues a command, addresses the launcher, then the driver, the latter transfers it to the audio subsystem, and only then does it sound. And you've already crossed 30 meters.

Use newer iGO (Pal) it can help sometime
And/Or set notifications to appear earlier and be aware of the difference
I don't think it's because of delays... Car position on map is always accurate... And the distance announced is always wrong no mater whether I'm going 100 or 50 km/h which would indicate the problem is something else other than delay...

Because I use a custom ROM I'll install identical version on my friend's phone (non rooted) to see if I can replicate the problem. Also, I'll create topic on XDA forum to see if any other custom ROM user has the same problem.

I'll try iGO Pal version but I doubt it will help because the problem persist in Here navigation as well...

Thank you for the suggestions...

yes, iGO_Pal works best with Pongo skin and in DE I still use it - also on And.14 - Loqendo7
I have no problem navigating thanks to verbosity level being set to medium, but it is just annoying little bug...

PS: And also taking the eyes off the road to look at the phone at every intersection doesn't feel like a safe resolution of the mater...
