Aha, that's seems to be the solution to enable the verbosity level!!!
The Dutch voice I used somehow disabled/dimmed the verbosity level. Now I need to test the early warning in the next few days.

Update:

Tried different voices and it showed me that depending on the voice the possibilities regarding the verbosity level changed. That seems weird to me but alas it is what it is. The problem is solved.
I did run into crashes suddenly during and after playing around with the voices which I solved by emptying the profile directory.
