Late directions on IGO Palestine

Hi all,

When driving on the Highway I get directions like "Leave at next exit" only 100 meters or so before the actual exit. Can I set iGO to give me early directions like on 1km, 500m and 100m? The problem is after 50km or so on the Highway I don't check the navi every minute and now I get change of direction just 100m before which is sometimes a bit late.

I am running iGO8 NG (Palestine)

Try in Settings > Sound > Verbosity Level

Thanks Jorge, but I don't see anything related there as I don't see 'verbosity level' in the sound settings. (I use a dutch version so I need to translate.) I do have 'warnings' off, is that related?
I expected a possibility similar to speed warnings where you apparently could set the warning distances. (Never tested that as I do not use speed warnings.)

Ok Boki, I thought I gave enough info but here we go:

- What is Device that you have problem with? (Teclast tablet 10 inch 64GB)
- What is device screen resolution? (2560 x 1600)
- what is application (software) resolution in portrait and landscape mode (for Android)? (landscape)
- Whether the device is rooted or not (for Android based devices)? (not rooted)
- Which version of Android (Or WinCE) ? (Android 8.0.0)
- Which version of the navigation software, exactly? (9.18.27.719974)
- Where the navigation software is (internal / external memory)? (Internal memory )
- Which edition of maps and extras? (Here Europe 2020 Q2)
- Whether the use of the skin (which)?? (installed directly from .apk no skin added)
- something about a specific addition that you may use; (none)
- and, finaly, detailed description of a problem.

I just did a test with apk 9.18.27.719974 (iGO_Pal) without skin and there is the path I indicated above (post # 4).
Also enable the Early Indication of Manouevers field.
Use the file from this link [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it may be easier for you.

Jorge, thanks a million for helping me out!

Just set the language of my install to English and made a screenshot.

Verbosity level is dimmed and I can't change it although it is already set to verbose.
And now I begin to think that somehow I do have a different skin? Although I am not aware of this and I certainly did not install one.
Could a setting in sys.txt be the cause, overruling the "early indication of Manoeuvres'? Which?
