If you're using a TTS voice for maneuver guidance and want to ensure speed camera alerts remain audible even when the voice is muted, here's a simple solution. By making a few edits to your sys.txt file and setting up the required audio files, you can customize your alerts to play any sound you prefer.
This example uses the !alert WAV files from data.zip, but you can replace them with your own custom sounds. Just follow these steps:
Create a directory named ui_igo9 in the same folder as your primo.exe.
Inside ui_igo9, create a subdirectory called audio and place your WAV files there.
Edit the sys.txt file entries to reference your audio files.
Refer to the example below for guidance. Simply replace !alert1, !alert5, etc., with the names of your custom files (without the .wav extension) to define the sounds you want to hear.
If you would prefer American English spoken warnings rather than beeps, extract this into your primo folder: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Or use this one for British English: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
