The car's devices are designed to run software from the card.
You can only do that way, I think.

How to install NextGen in car device - HU?
Hello everybody,
I have a problem with iGO Nextgen on my Chinese car radio.
The Android version is 6.0.1.
The iGO version is 9.18.27.709965
I have tried both the make sys and no make sys apk version.
I have bought the stuff on Ebay, because I wanted something that would work right away (I don't have time to find everything out myself. Too bad it still doesn't work as it should).
The problem is as follows:
- I copy all the required files to the root of the device (I want to run from the root because I have plenty of space).
- I install the APK
- I start iGO Nextgen
- It starts like it should and everything works
However, the next time I reboot the radio/HU, when starting iGO, all i get is a black screen. Nothing else.
If I then uninstall the app, en reinstall it from the root folder, when starting iGO, it gets stuck in the download screen. Only way to get it to work again for a single time, is to delete the entire folder from the root, and recopy the iGO folder from the microsd that i bought.
On my Samsung Tab 10.1 it works without a problem, but there i don´t have to copy to the root but can run straight from the sdcard.
I have tried clearing the device cache, but no result. Deleted the saves file prior to installing, no result.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have in fact read the forum rules. But I got stuck on the prefix part. Have used the search function for this, but no relevant results. Or is it obligated to introduce before it is possible to open a thread?
As far as using the search function for similar problems: i agree, and i have also suggested this to users of a forum i was a moderator of. My problem is however to find relevant search terms for my exact problem.
Anyway, the unit indeed has a separate sd slot for NAV. But does that really mean that it can run only from this slot? Makes it strange that it will run the first time.Last edited by milanmar; 26th November 2017 at 01:48 PM.

You have your iGO folder on SD Card, and you have copied that iGO folder in internal memory of device. Did you removed SD Card from slot, before you have started App? Problem can be with same iGO folder on both memories.
Remove SD card before install.

Then, as already said, try to install from SD Card (delete from internal memory)

No. Wrong. That guide is for mobile phones/tablets, and not for Android 6. Also, only to put content on SD, not whole setup.
I already said: car devices are designed to run complete software from card.
So: first, reset Android in HU, to be sure all is clear, nothing in cache.
Then, just put standard folder iGO_Basar in root of SD card, without modifications, delete sys.txt, use apk_make_sys variant. Then install Basar like every other apk.
Of course, all content must be in iGO folder. Should work without problems. If not, then you will have to adjust sys, txt, but, try first and tell us the result. (Maybe even to use modemakias's SD modded apk, but first try with standard.)

I have an in-car GPS device and i have never installed any SATnav software on an external SD card, and i have run many versions of the software.
If your device came with satnav software already installed on internal memory, delete it, and also delete the apk and try again.
