NextGen Speedcams in France

It is Next generation, and yes. I did a tour of France this year and it worked fine. I used the Pioplaza scdb and TomTom maps, available on this site. and just added the countries I needed. I tend to be listening through the intercom rather than watching on the motorcycle for obvious reasons but I was getting the warnings. I did notice they were not always 100 percent accurate for location though. From reading other threads this seems to be normal.

The folders with audio files should be placed in iGO_xxxxx\ui_nextgen\audio\speedcam_XX

This speedcam.zip can be used with any version of the nextgen, but only with default skin!

Hi Railroad,

That looks interesting but our posts must have crossed somewhere, I managed to solve the problem - see post 13 above.

How did you get the images, by actually driving through Paris or using a GPS Simulator ? If so which simulator because the one I'm using is rubbish ?

I want to activate alerts from France or Switzerland just like the rest of Europe but I can not see how to do it.

I would also like to install it without any skin and in the folder with the name that I like the most. for example "Browser" or "GPSNAVI" ... how do I do ????

Use online translator, like google

But, if you want to mess up more with apps and installations, you must learn functional English.
For unlocked FR&SUI speedcams you need modded data.zip, like described in this post:

How to disable showing speedcams (preloaded, which does not exist anymore) on the map?

Preloaded Speedcam database (for Slovenia) is 5 years old.

When I disable warning in menu nothing happens.

Try with deleting speedcam.spdb file in speedcam folder.
New will be generated on next program start.

when i install this it self create sys.txt with this inside:
[speedcam.disabled_countries]
_FRA=x,x,x,x,x,x,x
_SUI=x,x,x,x,x,x,x

But its not working, i also try make in data.zip this:

[speedcam.disabled_countries]
;_FRA=x,x,x,x,x,x,x
;_SUI=x,x,x,x,x,x,x

its the same if gps on, the settings speedcam is gone?
