@Shaulyael if you don't see map show up under About->Content, it means your map is either corrupted or something serious wrong with your installation. Files have extension, it would be prudent to post with it (ie: should be USA_California_83_TomTom_2015.09_151009.fbl )

What confusion?
Last maps with appropriate licenses for USA are at least three years old.
If he want to use the latest releases, or a legally buy it, if any, or he have to consider buying some Chinese devices based on Windows CE, then to put old good cr*cked Primo on it and put any content he wants.
The main problem I see is that user Shaulyael obviously have a very poor knowledge of the matter, and do not even understand it at all.
I clearly wrote that there are no licenses for that and newer editions and that it is claimed in posts. Then he aim that links are broken (!?). I deleted that his post, of course.

This thread is about android not WinCE, license is needed for NextGen content on WinCE because there is no fully cracked NextGen on WinCE yet. On android, there are fully cracked version of NextGen that doesn't need license for content. He's a newbie, no need to bring up WinCE since he's not using it and all it does is confuses him.

I live in Canada and have fully working maps for North America Q3 2016 working on android. I have both, Canadian and US maps and they are all active. Even if I remove the folder "license" most contents are still active.

WTH, where are the maps for the states you wanted to uses? Where are the .fbl files of those states? You are able to see and use Israel because you have map (.fbl) for it. Arrggghhhh!!! Read, read, read.
