Thread: Interchangeable Sat Nav motherboard

I have a 9" Chinese sat nav what needs firmware flashed. Easy enough as i have the firmware but sadly not the Bluetooth version. Non Bluetooth is not working so...... As the Primo 7 and 9" software are interchangeable would that be the same for firmware? Reason i ask is it would be handy to have the larger screen and i have a same brand 7" sat nav that is a tad battered round the edges and parts super glued together. I was thinking of putting the 7" motherboard into the 9" as apart from battered its working fine. Would i get full screen use or just some pixelated rubbish?
