iGO Primo 9.6.29 Voice guidance issue - android

I have exactly the same problem you had(?). Like you, Google Maps voice works fine, but nothing on IGO Primo. My CPU-Z is identical to yours (android 8.1, API level 23, etc.). And, based on your first post, I believe we may have the same device -- or an equivalent Chinese version including pre-loaded iGO Primo 9.6.29.3889. I have tried all the same work arounds -- changed navigation_audio_stream from ; to no ;, used 0 - 5, installed Vocalizer and VocalizerEx. Nothing has worked. Could you tell me which sys.txt you have ended up with and if you are using Vocalizer or have switched back to standard Google Voice? I have also searched these forums as well as the rest of the internet and cannot find a solution. You are the first one that seems to have made it work. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Thank You for the information. I have it working now

. I think the proper installation of the VocalizerEX did the trick. I have tried to install it before but, I think I messed up. Not sure what else in the sys.txt is important -- I see you have "navigation_audio_stream=3" -- mine is set to 0 and it still works. Never sure how much or how little in sys.txt is valuable???? I assume that since you are using Allison en_US - English (United States) Premium High that you are getting TTS including street names? My non-TTS voices still don't work but I don't really care; I prefer the TTS anyway. You are right -- the whole thing was very frustrating. I have searched and searched for this answer until my search finger is tired. Fortunately, I think everyone on this board tries to be helpful, which is greatly appreciated. Good information here. Thanks again.

If problem still exists, in your place I would try installing one of the TTS engine's, start with Vocalizer. Then try with TTS voice.

Hello.

I d like to confirm also this worked for me too. Greek TTS language Premium High with VocalizerEX.
Though in menus my device shows android 9.1 and CPU-Z 8.1 the actual API is 23.
Checked carefully for API version and followed your guides for Vocalizer and Boki_Srb Primo 9.6.29.636868 package.

navigation_audio_stream=0 worked for my device but i don't know if it really matters in TTS.
