    Superfluous comment.
    As far as I understand it (I'm pretty sure about it), he uses genuine software, and updated content that this software allowed.
    He can not even buy the latest release if the pioneer does not distribute it. And I think that his comment was related to that.

    And since this device is extremely expensive (flagship) I would not recommend him any messing with it at all.
