And if NNG is listening, I would like them to sell map per states (maybe like $1 per quarter) or per regions (maybe like $5 per quarter) or entire US for $25 per quarter. I don't need to get states or countries I don't need. This will be affordable and prevent piracy.

    Everyone his own preference.

    Dito answer as before.
Can't say about Waze, but at least they update maps (?) according to changed traffic situation within 24 to 48 hours. Mapmakers can't say that so whatever "proggy", sygic or NG, will end up the wrong wdirection in a one way street.
And in the past, IGO as well as Primo were not that good in routing either. Strange detours and others issues forced many to examine the route on screen before driving. Forgotten?
Anyway, google whenever not accurate, brought me home flawlessly yesterday. And the correct route too.

Haven't forgotten. You really can't compare "the past" iGO/Primo with today Waze/Google, they uses much more data for routing and the research in routing optimization today has advanced. And to be fair, I don't see Waze/Google running on PDA back then. Maybe "the up-to-date data" used by Waze is it down fall. Trying to route every which way to avoid traffic when there isn't any. Sygic stability is a joke. Navigon has potential but now that Garmin bought them, it will just go down hill. I've used pretty much every proggy, and for my area NNG wins hand down.

Well said osiris4isis. I have licensed map both tomtom and here since nng or naviextra releases both here in our country, but that was the real problem, the map update. you always need to buy updated one if you uses tomtom while over a year delayed for here map but it is free to update
